KEMAH!

When my in-laws came to visit and pick up Tony for his annual summer visit, we rode over to spend that Saturday afternoon at Kemah. Jordonna and Tony had been gone for a week, Tony was about to leave again for another week, I would be leaving again for most of that week, leaving Jordonna with her Nonnie and PawPaw, so I knew I wanted to do something fun with the two of them before we all went in a million different directions again so KEMAH it was. It was Tony's first time since he was a baby and of course that means Jordonna's first time. It was a hot day, but we put on the sunscreen, drink lots of water and tea and prepared for a great time. We knew Jordonna liked rides from her experience at the county fair so we decided to just buy them both a wristband for all the rides. I wish I had checked my camera before we left - the battery was dead and then my camera on my phone was full and couldn' t take anymore pictures :( but before they both failed me I was able to capture a few keepers. Poor Jordonna was upset that she wasn't big enough to ride some of the rides and Tony had NO FEAR at all - he rode every ride on the boardwalk! I should probably mention that a return trip is in the plans because Tony wanted so badly to ride "The Beast" which is a speed boat that does crazy turns and loud music out on the bay. The return trip will also require a fully charged camera so that we can post pictures of the kids feeding and being splashed by the sting rays - yes that was a highlight of the trip for everyone.
