Jordonna' First Week

Every day we look at our beautiful daughter we are in awe, in love, and still in shock that we have a baby girl. She is absolutely wonderful. She's had a busy first week. Lots of visitors came to see her and bring her all the pink things she needed so she wouldn't have to wear all those blue clothes. Her Aunt Kendra, Uncle Carl, and cousin Kennedy came to stay the weekend and brought her lots of pretty things as well (have to wait until next post to see some of those) and her Granddaddy, PawPaw, and Nonnie joined us all for dinner on Saturday to celebrate Granddaddy's birthday.

*We had a busy week of birthday's this week: 2nd - Jordonna, 3rd - Abi, 4th - Richard, 7th- Granddaddy. Happy Birthday to All!!

Jordonna has been sunbathing as most newborns have to do because of jaundice. She finally has come to accept it, but she would much rather be wrapped up as tight as can be in at least 2 blankets.

Tony is being an awesome big brother! He lets us know if anything is not right with his baby sister. He told his Nonnie the other day when the baby was crying, "Nonnie, she's crying, put that back in her mouth!" He was referring to the pacifer that his Nonnie didn't want her having. He even showed us how great a brother he will be when Jordonna is older. He was great with Kennedy.

Jordonna has been getting her sponge bath each night and hated it. That was until her Nonnie stayed for her bath and then she was on her best behavior and enjoyed every minute of it.

Everyone keeps asking for more pictures. Trust us, they are coming. We have plenty of them and can't wait to share them with everyone.
