Nothing like last minute

A co-worker is always telling me, "You have to write that down or you will never remember it when your kids are older." Well, Susan I have taken your advice and thanks to blogging, I am doing that as often as possible.
Let's go back a few weeks. (I would have posted this sooner, but Jordonna made an early arrival and took over the blog for a few weeks...sorry Josh!) Mid-January I keep reminding Josh he has a book project coming up due. He keeps telling me, "No I don't!". Okay, so the following week, I get an email reminding parents about the project, so I remind Josh once again. He gives me the same reply. Come January 30, what does Josh find out when he gets to class? He has a project due. He has read the book. He has taken the test over it, but does he have a project completed on the book? NO! So as he is sitting in class and listening to other students present their projects, he slides off his shoes, takes off his socks, borrows markers from another student, and makes SOCK PUPPETS!!!!!!!! The boy used dirty ole socks that had been on his feet all day and made puppets out of them. He then used these dirty sock puppets to tell the story from the book. He may have been last minute, but he had something to present, granted I'm sure it smelled pretty bad and to top it all off...the teacher gave him a 100!!! If she only knew.
