Last Sunday, Richard and I met Tara and Jason to have lunch so that Tara and I could basically wallow in our misery of our husbands making us go back to work and leave our baby girls. So sad!! The day was quite the experience. First it started out with me tumbling, yes literally tumbling, out the first steps of Saltgrass...in my Sunday dress and all. Thankfully Saltgrass is not as busy on Sunday afternoons as it is on Friday nights. I was alone in my gracefulness and I BELIEVE, not positive, but I do believe no one saw me. That was the first thing I jumped up and checked...then I pulled my dress back down and covered my hind end!!! Jackson (Tara's 3 year old) demanded to sit by Tony, but we had already made seating arrangements so he went under the table and joined his dad. The rest of the lunch became " Monkey See, Monkey Do ." Not sure what kind of role model Tara and Jason think Tony is but I hope it wasn't too bad! By the way, the whole " monkey see, monkey do" wasn't just for the boys, Kennedy and Jordonna did the same. If one was crying the other cried. If one was being held, the other wanted to be held. Eventually I was able to eat my lunch and the husbands took the boys to play on the playground and Tara headed for the bathroom to change a diaper (or should I call it a blow out, Tara?), with no change of clothes. Already Kennedy is borrowing from Jordonna's closet :) After braving lunch, you would think we were done, but NOOOO, someone came up with the brilliant plan to go to Macy's with two WILD boys, 2 newborn girls minus one stroller and no Benadryl....this wasn't planned out very well. After chasing the two boys through the mens department, a few stares, and Tony teaching Jackson how to hide in the racks of clothes and jump off the ones with rings around the bottom, Tara and Jason called it quits. (I planned on braving it out ...I had the stroller and needed pants.)
We said our goodbyes, the boys cried, and we tried to teach them how to say goodbye (without the hugs that freaks out the husbands when the sons hug...whatever!) So Richard and Jason are telling them to shake hands....Jackson does...only he is holding both of his hands in the air and is shaking them. Do they offer social skills for toddlers? The Consilio and Fulton household might need some.

I don't know, but if you find a place that teaches these social skills, let me know. The Greenes would need three spots reserved!
Oh my word, I'm rolling on the floor! Who knew that going to lunch would be such an experience! Jackson is still talking about his friend Tony.
