Eric Carle's Competition

While in the car the other day, I hear Tony in the backseat repeating himself over and over again. I turned down the radio and watched him from the rearview mirror so I could hear him and figure out what he was saying. Here's what I heard:

Batman, Batman what do you see? I see Robin looking at me. Robin, Robin what do you see? I see Joker looking at me. Joker, Joker what do you see? I see Spiderman looking at me. Spiderman, Spiderman what do you see? I see... Hey, mommy, stop looking at me!
I was busted. He caught me looking at him and he stopped his story. For those who know Eric Carle know his book Brown Bear, Brown Bear. Tony and his class have been reading this book in class apparently, but Tony decided to write his own story.

Richard would love that. He was mad that I put Anthony on the birth certificate and not Antonio!
