A Girl and Her Horse (with a little princessitis mixed in!)

It all started when Jordonna was born. Abi bought her a tiny baby stuffed horse with a matching outfit. Jordonna liked it and we took it everywhere (until she feel in love with her mama's - aka baby dolls) Then at Christmas, while we would shop at Target, we had to give Jordonna her time with the "barbie doll" type horse that was just as big as her. We tried to find her a special rocking horse for Christmas and just didn't find that perfect one for her. But her Uncle Steve and Aunt Kathy went for the next best thing and bought her a MUCH larger stuffed animal horse this time (see picture in 1st Christmas post). She loves to roll on the floor with that horse and sit on it also. And yet again, Uncle Steve and Aunt Kathy know the perfect way to make this sweet girl happy. (Scratch that - sweet might not be the best word after you finish reading the rest of the story...)

"Wow, a new horse! Thanks Aunt Kathy and Uncle Steve! I love it. I don't need to open any more presents, this is PERFECT!"

"Hey, did everyone see my new horse? It's so pretty and sings to me! It's as pretty as my new stacking rings my Nonnie made me - see them? My mommy wants me to look at them but I am showing off my new horse!"

"RENA! I didn't say you could touch my horse. I am just showing it to you. Can you please keep Emri off of it and Kennedy too. They can only look! Don't make me growl at them - it's so unlady like and I'd hate to have to yank them off of my horse again!"

"These people won't keep their hands off my horse! I'll just sit on it so NO ONE else can touch it. I can open my presents from here. This is the perfect plan!"

"Abi, are YOU touching MY HORSE?"

"Perhaps I should move it over here for safe keeping! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! I got me a new horse. I wonder how big the next one will be?"

So who would agree with me "sweet" should be rephrased? Uncle Steve has started a bad pattern here - not sure who it's bad for? Me or him? He can't afford the next sizes up and I don't have room for the next sizes up!

Richard is supposed to build a fence for that sweet girl and her brothers. They need a miniature next!

Jordonna, if you lick it then no one will touch it!
