The Gronch

We have been practicing since the last weekend in October, every Sunday!  Jordonna has passed out tickets to all her friends and family and reminds them daily about the upcoming performances. She is so excited!
Practice, practice, practice!

And if you practice really hard and do a good job, Pastor Brad lets you go up into Mt. Grumpit!
Dress Rehearsal Night!
Jordonna's favorite part about the play - getting to wear makeup.  FYI - not her Daddy's favorite part!

2 Memories from The Gronch:

1. On the last night of the production, Pastor Brad told the kids what an awesome job they did and hoped they would be back next year.  Jordonna tells him, "I'm coming back but I want a microphone next year."  She tells us she wants the part that says, "Well, Mr. Gronch are you coming to play the part of angel in our Christmas play?" (That would be the leading role of Cindy LooWho! She dreams big!)  You have to remember she is still the youngest Who to ever be in The Gronch.

2. The Gronch tries out different accents and roles to use when he plays the angel.  One is an Italian Mobster and says, "Forget about it!"  Jordonna walked around the house saying, "Forget about it!"  I told Richard that whatever he was letting her watch was not appropriate.  I was then reminded that it was the Gronch's fault, not his. Now when we see the Gronch, aka Ian, at church he always tells her "Forget about it!"

For those family and friends who could not make it to see her first production, here is the video for you to enjoy.  Jordonna is the first child to come out and is the first person in the front row.
