A Quick Learner

It amazes me how quickly Jordonna is learning and achieving the various milestones that babies learn. Just in this month (perhaps since I am home everyday I noticed things more so) Jordonna has learned to roll from her tummy to her back (was already rolling from back to tummy). She found her feet on Father's Day and has decided that chewing on them is the next best thing to chewing on my fingers. She gets the biggest kick out of "blowing raspberries." Some of her other favorite things include pulling on her headband and yanking the bow off so she can chew on them and making the biggest splash in the bathtub. And a must have is 2 pacifiers - one to suck on and one to play with. If 2 are not handy then she will just play with the one and whine about not having the other because it is pointless to even put it in her mouth because she knows how to pull it out now. She started eating cereal a couple weeks ago and next week we will add veggies or fruit. I had read somewhere that you can start veggies first so that they get used to that before tasting the sweet fruits. I have to double check on that, though. Oh, and I almost forgot that she has also learned to hold her own bottle (the few times she gets one.) Each night we have dinner as a family at the dinner table (imagine that, what a concept in this day and age!) Jordonna joins us, and this is the only time she will sit in her bumbo or her highchair and be happy all at the same time. And she must be the center of attention at this time or nobody is eating dinner! It's almost sad that she has learned so much these last few weeks - it means she is growing up too fast. Parents need options when it comes to their kids - options on how long they can stay little or how fast they can grow up :).

Here are recent picture of miss priss.

Who does she look like here?

Tony loves to hold me each morning - no longer than 3 minutes though.

Bathtime -warning: SPLASH ZONE!

Dinner time in my bumbo with the fam :)
