1st Day of School

The boys went back to school today and Jordonna teased them that she doesn't go to school, she goes to play at Mrs. Debbie's.

Tony is in 1st Grade (saw this picture idea on Pinterest to take a picture every first day to remember what grade)

Jordonna gets in on the action by carrying a few bags to the car. It takes a team to get all our gear loaded every morning.

Dylan and Josh ready for their first day (not as excited as Tony) This is Dylan's Junior year, Josh's Sophomore year....really already????

Our morning routine is crazy busy and perhaps confusing...

We load up and leave NO LATER than 7:05, first stop is to drop off the boys at the high school since their classes start at 7:30. Next stop - Jordonna. Before we head inside we usually have to put Tony's shoes on because we have ran out of time to do this at home. Then once inside, Tony has to say HI to Dane. Dane will chase Tony around a bit and hopefully within 5 minutes we can head out the door again. Next is to drop Tony off at school. If we ran out of time for me to finish getting ready, Tony and I sometimes have time to run home so I can, otherwise we do it in the church parking lot near his school. He will read or practice his spelling while I apply my face. Once Tony is safely inside school (Why am I so nervous if I don't watch him go inside, he will take off to play somewhere?) I head to the office and arrive right on time for my 7:45 start time. Yes 40 minutes to drop everyone off (that's 40 minutes without stopping to do makeup) and all of it is within a 5 mile radius.
Tony with his new teacher, Mrs. Wright! Here's to a great school year...
