I ate horribly this weekend!!!! I've lost a couple pounds every week back to December (granted most of that was because I was so sick in December but it was a great jump start/motivation to keep going). So to help make up for my horrible mistakes this weekend, I went for a bike ride. Jordonna tagged along in the child seat on back and Tony rode his bike - 2 miles. Let me just say that the extra 37 pounds hanging out behind me added much resistance and made it a tougher ride. When we got home, bikes were put away, Jordonna got her bike and I went for a mile walk. Pace was good because I was trying to keep up with her on her bike when she would get a good lead on us....yes, Tony was walking with me. So not only did my 3 year old daughter ride her bike an entire mile (without any complaining), my son rode his bike 2 miles and walked 1 mile - the same as me! Talk about shameful, on my part. I ate a great dinner (fish, wild rice, and broccoli) and then screwed up my whole wonderful day by the tempting carrot cake sitting on the counter. Darn birthday's this week!!! Yes I ate a bite...I promise it was only 1 bite but my stomach hurt and I was so upset. I jumped on the elliptical in hopes that I'd feel a bit better about that one bite. So while I was in the garage/gym working out, my kids made jump ropes out of my husbands karate belts. Tony's video was great - he had about 17 jumps, but the song that was playing on the radio was not a good one (thanks Josh for explaining the song to me - I hadn't listened to the words - just the beat of the song) so I can't post his video, but Jordonna was "practicing" her jump roping. Here's her video...
Forgive the mess in the garage!!
She tired at one point and needed to rest but was right back at it. Funny side note: Tony was calling my name trying to get my attention, "Mom, mom. MOM!" Jordonna tells him, "Momma's right there. See her in the blue shirt." As if she really needed to point me out in a crowd.
