SKATE!

Saturday, Tony had a friends birthday party at the Skating Rink. He hadn't ever been so I was surprised he was so excited to go skate - even not knowing how to skate. I knew I would have to skate, too, to help him which just excited him even more. I had not skated in YEARS and was a bit afraid how this would turn out.

I was very proud of Tony because I know he fell down at least 100 times and got up every time and tried it again - each time without crying. One time he almost pulled me over with him, but thankful I remained on both of my feet the entire time. Woooo! I should mention that today my arms were ever so sore. I wasn't quite sure why my arms would be so sore and then I realized, after pulling up 67 lbs off the floor over 100 times, your arms would be sore, too!

Tony was slow to start but before the end of the 2 hours he had it figured out and was planning his birthday party at the skating rink for April. He has plans on all the family returning often because he has a goal to be very fast by his party.
