Shaving Cream & Jump Ropes - Yeah 2 things that don't go together, unless you are reading this post

In the last post, you heard about how excited Tony is about jumproping right now. On Sunday, Mr. Scott had an opening game that invovled one boy jump roping with a glob of shaving cream on their nose, while a girl used the spray bottle to clean off the shaving cream. The team with the least amount of shaving cream remaining earned 2 pieces of candy, the other team 1.

Tony NEVER wants to draw attention to himself in Kid's Church, even if I'm sitting behind him and his friends whispering the answers. I was on the other side of the room when Mr. Scott started asking for volunteers. When he called Tony's name I was shocked he had even asked. Tony got right up there and prepared to jump. He was so excited about jump roping, he didn't have time to think about the shaving cream. As for me, I quickly grabbed my camera - I needed proof he was participating!

That is a big glob!

Cleaning up - there was shaving cream in his ears, up his nose, way up his nose! GROSS!!!!

And because this is so precious....

I love that she wants to "read" her Bible. She takes it with her to church each Sunday. When she reads, she tells the story from church. This Sunday it was the Birth of Christ (at least I'm assuming it is) It went something like this...

"Jesus was a baby. He played with his friends. His mommy made him take a bath and put on his pajamas and baby Jesus took a nap with the cows."
