"Owl" Be Quick

"Owl" be quick with this update:

It's been quite around here...busy at work, taking it easy during this past month, nothing too exciting but preparing for a certain someone's Owl Birthday Party. When the Birthdy Themed magazine came in the mail early January, Jordonna picked out a few themes she liked in the magazine. By the way none of them were the one I had already imagined and planned in my head and on pinterest. She kept going back to the "girl pirate" party. At 3 years old - I think NOT! So that left her next favorite as "Owls". I can do owl so I started pinning new ideas and put the "Art Party" on the back burner to come another year (hopefully?). I have spent the past few weekends planning out an Owl Party. Here is a glimpse to what we have so far. Her party is Saturday

Journals for her goodie bags

Found these "trees" for a $1 at Dollar Tree. I added a bit of moss and owl cutouts.
The paper lanterns were a $1 as well.

A recycled frame with owl cutouts featuring a #3. For the activity we are doing (because the weather is never very pretty on her party day) I needed something to store supplies. These cans were already on my craft table so I covered them and added an owl.

Here all decorations were free!

Owl Banner - again free from paper and ribbon on hand.

It's been hanging up for a week because someone is very excited.

I have also made pill boxes from TP rolls to resemble an owl. They are filled with a small package of M&M's. Also I purchased the large swirl suckers then covered them with 2 circle punches with the top one saying "Woo! Woo! Whoooo's 3? and an owl cutout in the center.

Her invitations were fun. I went overboard on the owl's and made too many. I hated to throw them away. Thankfully I didn't because 4 days later when I got ready to make her cupcake toppers I remembered I had some already made...I only need 4 more. YEA!!!

"Owl" be back this weekend with more pictures of the fun from her birthday party. Jordonna is asking daily, "When is Santa bringing my birfday?" And if you are on the naughty list you can't come to her party (We are kinda stuck on Christmas, I think?)
