The Golden Hippo

Tony helped fill plastic eggs for Easter. He found one in our stash that was the shape of a hippo. He immediately had a plan:

Tony - "This hippo will be our golden hippo. We can have a prize table at Nonnie's. Whoever finds the golden hippo will get a white chocolate bunny. But they have to find the golden hippo."

Me - "Aren't the golden oens worth money?"

Tony - "Sometimes, but the prize of a white chocolate bunny is the best!"

Me - "White chocolate? You don't want regular chocolate?"

Tony - "No - white chocolate is my favorite."

Well, I learned two things about white chocolate today. I sure hope the Easter bunny was paying attention! PawPaw spray painted the golden hippo and inside went a note about a white chocolate bunny. Our egg hunt this year also included some other golden eggs that were worth the lesser - $$$ and one with another white chocolate bunny.

Lucky for us, Tony found the golden hippo and won the prized bunny. As the kids were cracking open their golden eggs and Jordonna and Dylan both had the $5 bills, I knew a melt down from Tony was coming because he didn't get by a few $1 bills. Then his last golden egg held the other prize slip for the 2nd white bunny. He was so excited to have both - rubbing in everyone's face that he had both bunnies. So funny!

I wonder if he wanted the white chocolate bunny because he knows his brothers don't like the white chocolate?

*Sorry, my camera died, but my mom has a picture of him with his bunnies that I will have to share later.
