This is my first post here so I thought I'd first start off by introducing myself. My name is Sandra. My husband and I live in Texas with our 3 boys (Dylan, Josh, and Tony), ages 14, 12, and 4 respectively. They keep us very busy and entertained and at times, pulling our hair out. I teach 4th grade, so at this time, I am home for the summer with all 3 of them. I have enjoyed this summer so far by scrap booking a load of greeting cards and a few album pages. I had to take a break from that because I promised my sister-n-law I would cross-stitch a birth record for my new niece Kennedy. Kennedy is now 11 weeks old and I am on the last stretch of finishing (the hardest, no least fun part....backstitch isn't as fun as the cross-stitch). If I only had a few extra hours a day, I would love to spend some of it continuing my research on my genealogy or reading late into the night. But apparently I am supposed to cook, clean and wash laundry, right? I also started working on my master's this summer and it is taking up a good chunk of my time. So what's the dillio, Consilio? I choose this title because it is what we are always asking my 4 year old when he gets in his 4 year old mood..."What's the dillio, Consilio? We get 1 of 2 reactions...a smile if the mood isn't too bad, or he storms off if he is really ticked. There is usually a really good story (or at least we think so) that goes with his mood. I wanted to keep track of the stories and not forget them. Also I have teachers at school who love to hear my boys' stories and I hate to fill up their email and conference time telling them, so I decided to start posting the stories here. I hope to not only keep a record of my boys' childhood, but to make connections with other moms. Enjoy!
