She'll Have Water
Tonight at dinner, I had a coke. Yes - ME, I had a coke. Today had been one of those days and I didn't feel very well, had a headache and sometimes a coke will just make my head feel better, along with 2 Tylenol. But I VERY seldom will ever drink a coke at anytime of the day. Apparently this is so true that my 5 year old didn't quite understand why I was having a coke either. I stepped away from the table and Tony asks his daddy, "Why does mommy have that drink?" As I walked back into this question, I explained that I had a headache and this was going to make me feel better. Tony responded by telling me, "A coke doesn't help a headache. Water does. Get water!" Really? Where do 5 year olds hear these things?? Anyways, he got his way, because after one glass of coke my stomach hurt and all I wanted was water. Of course by this time the Tylenol and coke had kicked in and I was feeling a bit better. As we were finishing dinner, Tony asks if I am feeling better. I replied yes. And he says, "See the water was what you needed." I'll let him think the water did the trick. I love this kid - he keeps me smiling.

I drink water 99% of the time, too!!! Milk for breakfast and with sweets, but, other than that, it's water for me. Funny post...
Take care Sandra~
