Crockpot Tuesday #3

What is a crockpots best friend? Powder onion soup mix!

It has to be its best friend - almost every crockpot recipe I use calls for it. Proof - here is yet another one with onion soup mix.

Chicken Stroganoff

1 pound boneless/skinless chicken cut up into cubes
1 can cream of chicken
16 oz sour cream
1 pkg powder onion soup mix
1 small can cream of mushroom

(I of course had to double to feed my growing boys, so I left out the small can of mushrooms because they do not eat them and instead used 1 can cream of chicken and 1 can cream of mushroom - yeah don't ask, this I can sneak by but don't bring the chunks of mushrooms to the table)

Mix all ingredients together in a crockpot. Cook on low for 6-7 hours. Serve over egg noodles.

To ease in preparation, I mixed all the ingredients together the night before, with the exception of the chicken. The chicken was added the following morning.
