Inspiration by Design Recipe Books

I've admitted it before...I sometimes cheat to get my ideas on scrapbooking. This week I had to do it again. I was called on Monday and asked to decorate 3 recipe books and have it done by Tuesday. I already had lots planned for the week and throwing in 3 books unexpectedly, I had to use my go to search engine, Bing, for fresh ideas. Once again it didn't fail me. People are so creative! Here are the finished products. I'm very pleased with them and everyone in the office loved them (these were for retirees on our team) Picture quality is awful because I lost my camera and even if I did have my camera, it would still be awful because I need a new camera, but anyways...

Faithe wanted a Mexican theme cookbook to cook Mexican dishes for new friends when she moves to Delaware:

My Design: This next one really brought me out of my comfort zone. The paper I finally decided to go on just kinda hit me in the face and I immediately knew I wanted to use it, but bringing out the green and blue, along with the red, black and tans was a bit out there, but the finished product was adorable. Still trying to determine if this or the next is my favorite so that I can do one for myself.
This one is going to our Secondary Math Coach, Lanell. She's heading home to take care of grandbabies - nothing like retiring from education to go work in the next best field! Grandmas!!!!!

Inspiration:

Unable to locate source again - if the one in a million that designed this comes across my little ole' blog, please claim this as yours :)

Design:
Hard to see the front of this next one, but it is what I used as my inspiration and I'm in love with the finished product. This book is going to our Federal Programs director is who retiring.

Design: LOVE!!!
Now our instructional team is filling them with all their favorite recipes. Enjoy your new journey, ladies!
