My nieces have been at my mom's house the past week and today they woke up wanting to bake cookies. Since my mom's oven is out, they came to my house to make them. After 3 hours of swimming at the Rec Center, my brother brought over 4 kinds of cookie dough, but while we waited for him to show up with all of that, we made
tie dyed cupcakes for 2 reasons - 1. I had promised Tony earlier in the week we could make them and 2. I had the ingredients so why waste time waiting around. The kids enjoyed the cupcakes and they each got to mix their own choice of cookie dough. We made chocolate chip, double chocolate chip, snicker doodle, and peanut butter.
Snicker doodle was so sticky and almost impossible to roll in the cinnamon sugar mix - reminder why I haven't made them in forever! They all were very good and now that I am thinking about them, wish they were here and not with my brother - the cookies, not the girls. I had 6 kids in my house that night because after cookies, they both stayed the night. I loved having them here and wish it happened more often!

And since I don't have pictures of our cookies, here is a horrible close up of the cupcakes and a picture I found on my camera of sweet
Abi doodle - she got
ahold of my camera when it was left in her daddy's truck.
