Meeting of the IC's

With the financial burdens districts have been put in, our jobs will look much different this year so before the school year starts, we had time with the facilitators and all the coaches to get a game plan for the year. I am excited about many of those changes and I believe so many teachers will benefit even more from having us available to them, not just first year teachers.

After our meeting, Sheree's husband took us out on the boat to go to dinner. It was a great trip up the river a short ways and then back down to a tiny hole in the wall restaurant, 2J's, for dinner. Wednesday night is "All You Can Eat Catfish." I had a hard time deciding between catfish and shrimp, settled for the catfish - very good choice with some of the best tarter sauce I've ever had - but such big servings that "AYCE" meant one plate that I couldn't even finish!

Thanks, Capt, Ron for the ride on the boat. Perfect time of day for it - not too hot, no traffic, and even better for me, I just sat and relaxed not worrying about a child falling over the edge!
