Christmas Morning started very early at the
Consilio house. Tony came down around 3am but we were able to get him back to bed. That is until
Jordonna came down at 4:30 and she was waking up everyone with the
announcement of Santa's arrival. Dylan and Josh were not happy that their sister had woke them up even earlier than they would had they gone to school. By the time we had finished with our family Christmas, the kids were ready to take their Santa gifts (a
RipRazor 360 and a Princess big girl bike) outside. Too bad they couldn't since it was still DARK outside! Tony gave me a new waffle maker for Christmas since mine has been missing for sometime. And with my new waffle I made homemade waffles, bacon,
hashbrowns and eggs. By the time we left the table,
Jordonna was on the couch and asleep (9am). I moved her to bed and took a Christmas morning nap too. It was incredible.
Christmas morning is always so rushed. Open our gifts, shower, get to
Nonnie's. Breakfast - oops skip it. This year, we had Christmas dinner rather than lunch so we were not due at my parents until 4:30 or 5:00. The kids enjoyed their toys, we rested, took our time, enjoyed the day without a doubt.

And before opening gifts at
Nonnie's house, we were able to get everyone to sit in one spot, face one direction and take a picture...oh wait
Jordonna is playing games with us again. Perhaps next time.
It was a great day of celebrating with family, the birth of our Saviour and remembering the Reason for the Season.
Merry Christmas!
