Willow's first car ride to the farm - she was comfy in my arms
Dec 17 - first day of Christmas break I was not feeling well. Richard left to go do some Christmas shopping. By 1:30 that afternoon my head was hurting so bad I attempt to call Richard to come home and watch the kids so I could possibly rest. My phone would not work. I used my son's and Richard didn't answer. An hour later I couldn't take it any longer and attempted to drive myself to Urgent Care. Once I stepped outside I was made aware of how seriously sick I was - the sun was awful and I would have been better off crawling back inside. Thankfully Richard called me about that time and headed home to get me.
When Richard arrived home I immediately went to his truck and he was trying to get me in my car. I of course was getting frustrated because I felt so bad and just wanted to get in his truck and GO! I climbed in Richard's truck and sit on a DOG!
At the moment I could not enjoy that we had a new puppy, I just needed to get to a doctor. So Willow rode with us to Urgent Care. Richard waited outside while I saw the doctor.
When we returned to surprise the kids, they didn't believe that I really was sick and had to leave to see a doctor. HA!
It was like early Christmas all day that Saturday. Remember my non-working phone - well it was because my husband transferred our service to another provider and I FINALLY got the phone I've wanted for so long. He knew I couldn't wait a week for my phone so I got that gift early too.
Willow came from the SPCA. She is a Chatahula with a leopard coat. Her name was Dixie but the boys didn't like it. For about a day she was called Holly but 2 of the 3 boys didn't like that either. One said it wasn't strong enough for a hunting dog. Then a cousin suggested Willow. They liked it and we have left it at that. (Ummm still not sure if it is strong hunting name but I like it)
