I just wanted one Christmas picture

After spending the entire week attached to my bed very very sick, my mom came over to rescue me, my home and help me get the kids to see Santa on Christmas Eve before our Christmas Eve service. (Nothing like last minute....I really thought we wouldn't make it this year!) I wanted just one cute picture of the kids and was pretty sure Jordonna would be her normal drama self and shut down as soon as anyone talked about "cheese" or "smile". My mom had the kids stand aside and tried getting a few...Jordonna would NOT stand still.

But when it was time to visit with Santa she was so excited and we did get a perfect picture that we of course had to buy just to be able to take pictures with our own camera. When Jordonna sat down on his lap, she started twirling his beard in her fingers. I was a bit unsure at first and then realized she was doing her new thing - "Tickle, tickle, tickle." We need to talk about when it is appropriate.

One hour later we headed off to the Christmas Eve service at church. Afterward we thought we would attempt one more picture since Jordonna was in her new Christmas dress. It was not much better than our first attempt...

Tony's shirt is no longer tucked in

and I'm afraid to ask about Tony's face in this picture.

Jordonna on the other hand is playing peek-a-boo with us

At least we tried...
