"This is God's Universe and He does things His way. You may think you have a better way of doing things, but you do not have a universe." - J. Vernon McGeeAs part of Tony's scouting events, he is encouraged to participate in a visit to a museum. We were unable to visit Jackson Plantation with the rest of his den, so we went to the Planetarium with the family instead. There were ~20 telescopes set up in the parking lot. Since all the parking lot lights were out and we went after dark, pictures didn't do us any good outside. Tony was very excited to look through the scopes, but even more when the volunteers would point to the location we were viewing in the sky using a laser. The things that excite kids the most! Inside they had activity tables set up to show a scale size model of the solar system plus a few others. The gift shop was open and they showed back to back Planetarium shows. Tony and the boys enjoyed this.
